You hold:
Scoring: MP

LHO start the bidding:
3 - pass - pass - ???

What do you bid? (I don't think anyone has some fancy bids for balanced hands  )

Extra: do you bid anything else when it's IMP scoring?

This might turn out completely wrong, but I'm going to pass.

Pard is very short in clubs and didn't double nor bid 3, so he's probably broke and it's not our hand.

If I had to bid, I'd prefer double to 3.

To me this is a Pass wtp?

It's possible that it's your hand in a part-score. But I cannot see taking that risk when partner is short in clubs and couldn't act.

I have a reason to celebrate, since this is one of my rare decisions that goes along with the majority of voters.

But if someone points a gun at me, or I need a swing so badly that I feel like a gun has been pointed to my head, requiring me to bid something, I'll go for 3NT.

I'd be even more inclined to bid 3NT at IMPs, but again only under considerable pressure.

When LHO pre-empts first in and it's passed to me, I *never* pass opening hands provided partner's on the same wavelength. But here we have an exception. Pass.
