This is the difference between bridge and ice skating. Far less pelvic gyration at the table. I'm ok with that actually. Maybe this is why ice skating is on tv and bridge is not.

Eugeni Plushenko is in far better physical condition than any bridge player I have ever come across. Its not as if our game is churning out sex-symbols at a rate of knots - male or female. If the WBF is serious about marketing the game, it should order its stars to get down the gym pronto.

That just tells you how easy you women have it. Just put on some make up and look beautiful, whereas men have to do all these very physical sports and body building and such.

In short:
To make a not-so-beautiful woman beautiful: 2 hours of hard work
To make a not-so-beautiful man beautiful: 2 years of hard work

Isn't really fair...

I agree that it takes ages for them to put on make-up, but does it always help? Well, at least it helps the manufacturers make a lot of money.
