Farts are very funny as everyone knows, so you can imagine my horror when I read this article

Fart-Free Beans?

Fun-hating scientists trying to take away one of life's pungent pleasures. I cannot stand for this.

I think a petition is needed to keep beans real so that when life wends its depressing way, there is always a fart to put a smile back on your face.

ROFLMAO....Sorry that I didn't catch that you were serious. I retroactively rescind my comments and will avoid your future posts of similar ilk like the plague.

"A Venezuelan team says fermenting beans with certain friendly bacteria can cut the amount of wind-causing compounds, and boost beans' nutritional value. "

Increasing nutritional value is a pressing (and noble) goal. The unfortunate side effects notwithstanding. :D
