Opening 4S is wrong, if you want to get to slam. This is a sound 1S opener.

With that dummy, after 4S P to me, I would pass like a shot and hope to not get doubled.

To be fair though, I'm not sure how I would get to 6S on these cards. Playing 2/1

1S 2C
2S 3C
3S 4D (is this a cue? Probably)
4H 4NT
5H 6S

but I'm not happy with the auction, especially since West has a void in East's main suit.

I really hate opening 4S on that West hand, with two aces a king and a void. It just looks like too good a hand to me.

Having said that, there's nothing wrong with playing in 4S. 6S seems to need spades 2-2, which makes it against the odds. It gets to be a slightly better contract if you have any chance of the ace of clubs lead or a heart away from the king, but I'm quite happy not bidding it.

WHY open 4 (ESPECIALLY in 1st position)when you have perfectly good 1 opener ?????
It's almost impossible for partner to bid over the "weak" 8 card prempt

I also agree that it's not a great slam. It does have a couple of other chances to make, though:

1) Someone has Ax
2) South has Axx... and hops up with the A when you lead a from dummy, trying to prevent you from scoring a singleton Q.
